Haha, yeah, I'm gutted it wasn't in focus as well, would have been a nice pic if it was :( I think my camera has trouble auto-focusing on black :sneaky:
I managed to get okay ones of all the other minis (I think). Was a great day though :proud:

I do have very poor quality longer ones. But I was using my phone and the screen holder kept slipping.....will get some more this week :D

Oh, update:

I went to Stanford Mini show..... NOT! >_<

Drove it to Shifty's, pulled into his drive..... just about to set off for Stanford I thought, hmmm, I'll adjust that clutch cable up a bit. So I adjusted it up, tried it. THUNK. Ooopsies. :lol:

Converting it to hydraulic now, hoping to get it done for Combe, but we'll see.

Done the hydraulic clutch conversion now. Jo's a good un. :D

pedal actually feels loads better now, deffo worth doing.

Lol, Job's a good un, not Jo.... well, Jo is a good un, but my phone autocorrected it to Jo's.....

Anyway, I'm not sure how much of a bodge this is, but it worked really well.... pics:

Only thing I need to do now is add a better rubber spacer (instead of the two grommets I used just to fit and test it), but to be honest that's only there to give the cylinder a little flex. Over winter, I'll be changing the box for something different anyway, so this is only a temporary fix, I'll go with a concentric slave instead on the next box.

Yeah. Not too bad. Still not floored it in first and gradually flooring it in second. But i am just hitting 60 as i change to third. Wish it was just slightly longer geared to be honest. But yeah, it does go OK really.

Not that its actually relevant to me now >_<, but how did you get on with the Wilwood slave?. I've got one sat on the shelf that I was going to use on mine. if it works OK I might try flogging it on 16v!

Perfect, to be honest. It worked real well straight out of the box Tom. Used a pedal ratio of 6-1 and a 0.725" bore master cylinder and bled her up....shazzam.

Didn't even make a mount for it, just popped it in the top of the box where the cable should rest/pull against. Instant result, well happy!

Yeah. It's OK fella.

to be honest, in an ideal world I would like first gear to be longer. I feel like 5th is about right though. Iirc 85mph is about 4000rpm ish?

Dunno. Maybe just switching from a 3.55:1 FD ratio to around a 3.3-3.4 would do it. Just not sure what standard diff options are out there. I would love a Quaiffe ATB diff in there....and a 6 speed box....and a decent clutch.....but better brakes is first on the list abduction if I have to go for bigger disks, meaning bigger rims, I'll have to think about FD ratios again......

In short, yep it's OK. But not perfect.
