I have tidied up the wiring, but I'm still not happy with it yet.......it'll do to get it on the road.

Lights work
Dash works
Horn works
Tell tales in the dash work
I've made a new coil mount
I've started on the inlet tweaks
I've got the engine loom properly tidied up
I've got the plumbing sorted (apart from the fan controller)
I've got the fuelling sorted
I've got the radio working (weeeeee)

Maybe I'll fire it up tomorrow!

No.

got it turning over, all ready to go, but it wouldn't fire. It's either a wiring issue, a duff bit of engine loom, or a duff ECU. Hoping it's just my wiring!

Probably something silly mate like plugs? Are you using new ones and are they getting wet atall?

interesting Kam said that, the plugs on the C16XE's are very temperamental, and if you get them slightly wet they will not work, even if you blowtorch them dry! keep an eye on them and goodluck for tomorrows antics

Had some issues myself using the donor engine plugs (honda), quick trip to halfords and here I am.....

lol, i used new plugs but got em wet, took me weeks to figure out it was that! LOL FAIL! =p

Yeah, I've tried plugs. Took a lead off, turned it over with a plug earthed against the engine and had no spark.

I'm sure it'll be something simples, I'll crack on today and report back.
