I think everyone goes through that stage. Mine seems to be dragging on but then I do a little bit and get the enthusiasm back. Cold weather doesn't help either.

Stick with it buddy!

Matt if you don't want it, I know someone who does.

I think you'll get your spirit back though. I've been through a dry spell with enthusiasm towards my car but I think I'm just about coming out of the other side, I've been and worked on it 3 days this week as opposed to the usual 0 days.

Hope your session this weekend has gone well!

I've been mucking around with the niggly jobs today. Lost most of yesterday having to do an errand, poops!

I'm getting there with the wiring now. Also happier about the fit of the front end now and how the rad's going to sit in there. The main thing I achieved this weekend was sorting out what's going where and refreshing my memory with what's left to do on her.

Poor little sod, she's gonna be worth it though.

I'm not sure what sort of performance to expect from her, but I'm loving the way the under bonnet is looking now. >_<

Update:

I have spent more money! Weeeee!

I have finally got a decat front pipe for the VX engine, so I can mod it to go to the mini exhaust.

I've bought the final few hoses/adaptors.

I've bought a heater tap and dash slider.

I've bought a LOT of the electrical parts I needed.

I've been studying the IVA manuals.......

If I weld the steel inner wings on it, trim them back a little to the Allspeed frame, I may just be able to avoid the IVA test. If I have to go for IVA, I need to add:

Hazards,
Rear fog light,
Seam rubber for all exposed seams,
Collapsible steering column,

the list goes on! :(

Matt - do you happen to know if the amount of trimming required for your frame and running gear is likely to be the same as for my c20XE frame?

also - if you struggle for inner wings, and want to get some heritage ones on order you can borrow mine, as i dont think they'll be put on any time soon.

I think the large bore Allspeed frames are slightly longer, but would have to ask Rob.

Hmmmm, inner wings.... I'll think about it. Skint ATM though, ta.

Yeah, cheers. I saw them Al.

I've got another problem though..........

I am moving house in like 6 weeks, it's pretty much GOT to be finished for then, or I'll have to rent a unit.

So, stuff needs to be flogged, given away, the mini needs finishing and insuring/MOTing/taxing.........

Pressure, bring it on! :D

I reckon though, 3 days off work will have the mini finished............
