Alright, alright!

Will take some tomorrow, but it's just an engine, with a nice set of shihihiney Mahle oversized pistons and a set of ARP rod bolts and HT main bolts (thanks Alex) and a new KS oil pump and ACL Duraglide shells........

Oh, and a freshly painted sump  :proud:

I've painted the block red and the sump is matt black

Yeah, got the original one to go on there, but I'm thinking of making a CF copy of the top half eventually.

As for the vin number, nup, I won't get my free tax then!

not much to show really, but it's all together, torqued up, new sump gasket.

So, it's ready to get bolted up to the gearbox and then I've got a hoist on loan for tomorrow night until the weekend. WEEEEEEE!

Just thinking that I might as well fit a new clutch in there, so I'll try and get one of them today.

Ju, I'm trying to get it finished, really I am! :D

cant wait til friday then!

bit of a tip (doubt you need this one): if theres only one of you doing the crank pully bolt up, do it with the starter motor in and flywheel, then put a screwdriver in the flywheel (wide flathead) and hold it in place with a G clamp or 2, because its silly torque. I only had me to do it up, was a right mission!

Good luck buddy! keep me up to day >_<

Wow, this seems to have moved on alot since the last time I checked.

You make me so jealous Matt, since I saw your project it was still a-series and I had Elliot as a banged up rust bucket for college I always wanted my car like yours. I get myself half way to having it like yours and you make it a thousand times better by adding this engine! Now I'm back at square one, haha.

Keep up the good work and more pictures please >_<.
