Not too well to be honest. Got my GF's bro coming round tomorrow to give me a hand with it.

I made my mock up airbox though

It's as rough as, but it'll do for now. I'm going to make another mould and have another crack at it when I can be bothered.

Frame's still sitting in the vice at the moment, looking like this:

Started to clean it up to do some more seam welding on what's already there, but that's about it for now.

Depending on how tomorrow goes though, I might just end up buying a frame from Allspeed methinks!

Well, to be honest the quickest way to get her back on the road s probably letting Ali do all the work for me. He's a damn good fabricator and also really handy with bodywork, so I might just end up bunging him moolar to do a load of the work :D

:D He didn't turn up, so I got bored and tried to crack on with it myself. I started by bracing the towers with a strut and a pair of diagonals, then I gave up because it was too cold. I tried to find Allspeed's website, but even failed at that!

So now, it looks like this:

You will notice how immaculate my workbench is! :dontgetit: and how generally tidy I am in the garage!

Oooh, and if you look really closely you'll notice how bad my welding is!

Well then............

I've been having a go at welding again! :D

Ackchewally, it's not toooo bad now. Definitely getting back into the swing of it.

I've added the two runners to the frame. I've made them over long for now so I can cut them back later. I've also bent the brace that goes on the passenger side (has to fit over the gearbox). And that's now cut to length and ready to be tacked in place. I've also 'mounted' the frame around the old frame to retain the dimensions for the tie-bar pickups. The angle on the top is just to tie in the location fo the front beam. That's going to be sticking just inside (hopefully) the front valance (which will be made slightly more bulbus to accomodate).

Pics...

I've also got an inlet manifold blank, I just need to get a set of 30 degree bends from Demon Tweeks to TIG on there at work (OK, so someone else will do the TIG welding). I figure TIG welding it would be better for sealing and also would reduce distortion on the flange.
