I know. I thought I saw you in the autojumble bit, but I went to look for you and you disappeared
Did you get reverse gear in the end
Yup

But it was a mechanical problem, not human!

I had to change back to a standard lever instead of the KAD one. The end of the lever must be fouling on the gear change housing (the lug that you have to lift over to get reverse). The lever is funny, it won't lift at all, it's fouling or sticking somewhere. But it felt funny going into all of the gears, I really didn't like the feel of it at all. So, £5 later and I've got a standard lever that's sooo much smoother going into the gears.
Clutch still needs fine tuning though. It's something I'm gonna address tomorrow night though.

I meant I'm gonna phone em and book it today, not take it for a tune up today. I'm hoping to get there on Saturday morning.

looks mint!! nice engine spec too. Have i missed the link for a video? hehe!
Yeah mate, it's a couple of pages back somewhere. HERE IT IS AGAIN!

Seriously, seriously needs setting up right. I've managed less than 40 miles to a tank full!! IIRC, it's a 7 gallon tank, so that's reeeeeeeeal good!

Had a mare tonight!!!

Drove about 8 miles to where I play footy, nearly made it there and then the lights went out. Cruised the rest of the way with the sidelights on (about 500 metres with streetlamps so not too bad) and couldn't find the fault. Checked it over after the match (I scored a goal) and found that I'd blown the headlight switch

Sooooo, drove home after fitting a fat link wire in place of the switch. Indicators, wipers, brake lights all stopped working!

I love being a mini owner!

Anyway, I reckon it'll be a wire that's come off the back of the ignition switch whilst I was playing with the headlamp switch.

God, I
