Right then,
I had big plans for the weekend, but.........
I couldn't be bothered!
A combination of me not feeling too brilliant and my GF being ill meant that all I really did was cleaned up the daily driver to get it ready for someone to collect (someone who never bothered to get back to me after they said they were going to collect the car on monday).
I did start to fit the CF bonnet though:
Daft as is sounds, I think the FReaK actually looks cool with a white bonnet!
Just need to get the front of the bonnet sorted out now.
But I had to bring my hunk of junk motorbike home as it was taking up too much space in the workshop at work! BOO!
I have to keep pushing it in and out of the garage because it's always in the way!
Sooo, I'm planning to go in there tomorrow night and really get stuck in. The head's the only engine bit that needs finishing off really. It's just the valves and seats that need the three-angle treatment.
I also did some little bits of tidying up the bodywork. Nothing too special as I am not that brilliant with painting, but I managed to get the dent out of the roof (was luckily just above the cant rail). Knocked it out from the inside, rubbed it down, skim of filler, flatted it out.................
Anyway, she no longer has a little dent in the back of the roof! I've also flatted off a couple of the areas of the roof where it had some scratches and have slapped some paint on them to stop them looking bad. There's a few areas of bodywork that need looking at, but most of them are on the fron wings/slam panel, which is going to get replaced with a flip front soon enough.
