Yep, brilliant job. Just a Q about the steering wheel: doesn't look as if you've lowered the column. By choice, or because the wheel is too big? My first (standard '62) mini was a bit like a bus with the upright steering and big wheel, and a lot better when I moved the seats back with extra brackets and bought the usual wheel lowering kit. Since then I haven't driven a mini that disn't have a smaller steering wheel.

Well I wouldnt mind a black and blue sports wheel as my interior is going to be black and blue.
I mounted my clocks in the dash today. But ive had to mount the actual dash board different for it to look ne good.
What ive done is tuck the top of the dash board behind the top dash rail, and the bottom of the dash is in the usual place. Its pretty cool because the dash is tilted back and is parralel with the center console

Ive got a driving lesson now, But I will take some pics in about 2 hours!

Dosent your heater blow hot air straight onto your HU?

With the custom consoles centre console they have a shelf that slides in under the heater to stop the hot air getting to the head unit.

the stearing wheels from the early Austin Rover times are horrid, big, hard plastic and very thin. my dad worked in a Ex - Layland Garage and luckly found an unsold original Austin Rover sports stering wheel.

That looks good. How did you get round the final curvature on each end of the top dashrail? And where has your clutch pedal gone????

I know, it's an automatic
