one question though.. does it get in the way of your "clutch" foot?

nah ive got a console for the other mini which i bought from custom consoles so i just drew around that so i had something as a guide. would be too wide if i covered it in material as its 8mm mdf + my dad does spraying for a living so should be able to get a good finish on it

ive got bout 10mm from clutch pedal but ya get used to it pretty quickly.

when i had one in mine it was a pain in the ar*e, my foot always used to get hooked behind it mind you i do spend most of my time in a pair of size 12 steelies

i made it so you cant get stuck underneat it as it goes all the way back so ya just hit ya foot on it

Dosent your heater blow hot air straight onto your HU?

lol yup, this topics been bought back from the dead.....

the heater does blow onto the Hu but i always have it directed up into the windscreen outlets and ask any of my passengers it gets plenty hot enough with just them open.

i''ll get some pics sometime of how it looks now
