Really happy to see this coming back together. This is one of those truely gorgeous Minis that you just can't help but stare at...which is why it's been my mobile phones wallpaper for some time now .

I got a blow up doll at a christmas do the other week Gave it to somebody who claimed to have "other uses for it" ...

I've not done everything I was thinking of doing Dog - fuel cell is the main one. It was just too much work and money for not that much gain, so I didnt bother.

Had a day on it today, got all the arches fitted properly with the rubber seals on and they look really good. Put all the new wheels on and they fit the arches absolutely perfectly. Also built the bootlid up (and got a massive scratch on it ) and put the catch on the bonnet. Then we had a crack at the ramp (had a guy come to look at it yesterday) and its just about running again. Need someone to have a look at the switch box on it now to try and cure that, and we're back in business

looking damn good mate, my mini recently had a smash up on the offside, where it hit a roundabout, the front and rear subframes were nakkered and so was the subframe, but like yours, none of the subframe mounting bolts were damaged, which is a great stroke of luck.

And where did you get your wheels from, they look like they've fallen from the skies

Had a full day on it today, got loads done. Grille is fixed on with rivnuts so no messing around with screws. Got half the headlining in as well Loads of other bits have gone on too, the shopping list keeps growing!

My new aerial turned up yesterday, but I didnt have the energy to get out there and fit it. I manned up tonight and set to, fitted the aerial, routed the cable along the roof channel to the front (I really should have waited for the aerial to turn up before I put the front sections of headliner in, it made it a complete *horrid woman* to do ) and then finished the headlining off. You can only see the underside of the aerial connector now, I managed to bury the cable inside the headlining.

Minispares package came today - fitted o/s/r light unit, front indicators, front bumper (after a little adjusting with the noisy spanner), fuel tank and the bootlid.
