those wheels are lovely, would be great if they done them in 10's but i dontthink they do, although there are some kad do which look like these but there lots of money

Progress:
Hoovered the boot out and stonechipped it - its totally lost the repair I welded in, which is nice


Picked up some brand new genuine arches from slyoldfox, downloaded the templates from minispares and got them fitting much better than the old ones were:

And also found an autoplas dash on ebay in Leicester - picked it up last night Stuck a few gauges in just to start mocking up how I'll fit it together

I left a comment on your Van project but it didn't get answered, so I'll quickly ask here how did you fix the front down without showing anything externally? cheers .

Cheers mate. Sorry, I totally forgot to reply to that. I welded some big stainless over-centre latches to the insides of the wing and A panels

well, its been a while since I updated this...

I put it up on trestles so I could get at the sills easier:

Found a nicely fillered over hole in the doorstep too All welded up and stonechipped now though.

Among other things, I ripped the headliner out today and spotted a nice bit of rust above the rear screen. Cut the roof hoop out in front of it and my day suddenly got worse....



All welded up now


Also got the front panel stripped and zinc primed, the seam strips fitted and my new mk1 bonnet on:


Tomorrow we're gonna get the grille fitting nicely and the doors stripped and prepped for paint. Then sometime next week it will be going for a trip to the bodyshop

just read the whole project! i crashed mine into a fence which encouraged me to fix it properly and i ended up with a fibreglass front on!! lol
your mini is looking really good! love the wheels and that dash is gonna look nice when its all fitted!

Got a call today, saying its ready Went down and picked it up this afternoon, and it looks awesome. I'd say they've done an even better job of it than they did my van.
apologies for the phone pics, not had chance to get my camera out.




Only problem is, I got it back in the garage tonight and the lift did what its been threatening to do for weeks and died on me. So now both the 2 posters are dead Hopefully we can find someone who can fix it.
