After being on here for ages, I thought I'd better put a project page up for my daily driver. I got it off ebay before I learnt to drive for £1000. It was in pretty much the condition it is now, which is pretty damn good!



Its a 998, and it already had a full stage 1 kit with an LCB, rc40 exhaust, hi-los, adjutable spax - the works really. I got it on the ramps at home, and the underside is almost perfect - I've only needed to waxoyl it. Theres some little rust spots here and there, but what mini hasnt got them? I've changed the carb to a HIF38, and put a K&N cone filter on it. This made a helluva difference to the performance of it - wish I'd done it ages ago!
I put a dash in it last christmas, along with a headunit and speakers.

I got a pair of cobra classics off ebay, and had them in for a while, but now I've got a set of cobra clubmans in black vinyl. One of the next projects is to retrim my doorcards to match the seats.

In July it was written off due to this bump. All repaired now, and you could never tell it happened

Thanks everyone. Theres still plenty left to do to it - I've got a 12G295 head being sorted up at morspeed, I'm going to sort the door cards out, and I should be ordering a console sometime next week.
