Cheers guys. Yeah, they are wipac freeforms. I put them on the van, and I've always been really happy with that, so I got them for this as well. I wouldnt go picking my brains about the MJ till I've fired it up and know that it works David :)

Freeforms! Yes, no idea where I got Clearforms from haha, I'll blame being tired .

Glad to know I've picked some good lamps for mine then.

It's a shame they don't do any matching spot lamps, that'd be fantastic.

I've been working away for nearly 3 weeks now so things havent gone forward too quickly...
I've got the parcel shelf done and the speakers fitted properly, and the rear bumper. Tried to fit the rear screen, and got fed up trying, so I'm just gonna pay someone to fit them both, be much less stressfull!

I've moved it into the other half of the garage so I can get the suspension set up this saturday, courtesy of Dave Yardy (icklemini) and I've got all the hi-los set to the right height and all the arches taken off, so it should be pretty straightforward.

Got loads done! Yesterday Dave came and we set the suspension up, he says its the straightest car he's done for a while - the front is only about 1.5mm out of line. Guess our repairs were pretty good then! I also gave the bodywork thats behind the arches a quick coat of hammerite while they were off.
This morning I got the arches back on, bumper on, fuel tank back, doorcards and rear seat refitted, got my drivers seat in, fitted the column drop bracket, put the gauges in the dash and test fitted it and ripped the radiator out the srapper on the drive and fitted it (ended up having to chop half the front end off to do it, but thats another story...) So, all in all, a pretty good weekend! L2B looks like it may be possible...

It's looking fantastic sir, everytime I look at the paint on that car it makes me want it more.

The suspension setup, did you need any special equipment or is it something I could do at home on my own car with a bit of patience?

Also, how did you find how far off straight your car was? I'd be interested to look at mine when it's done .

Graeme, where do you have yours done?

Or am I just going to have to take it to a local garage and pray they look after it, haha.

Keep up the progress Mr. VanMan!

Hell yeah!

Took the nasty crappy plastic bits out and made a couple of MDF ones, fitted them with some nice countersunk hex head bolts. Need to put a couple of rivnuts on the left one so I can get it off easily to undo the speedo cable, chop a hole for the head unit and its getting there. Had a good wiring session today, the only bit that doesnt work now is the indicator light in the centre speedo.
