flush fitting bonnet lock and aero catches

i used the "hard to find" :xxx: search button, and found the catches i want but, all i need is some pictures of how deep the flush fitting bonnet locks are, link below if you don't know what i'm on about!

i used these on my old mini when i put my smooth bootlid on, this is a pic of them fitted, they do fit quite flush but i think thay may have fitted just as well without using the chrome rings around them, and just used the lock part.

don't buy these. i had these on my car for a day, and the vibrations from my 1380 made the pins in the lock move about and the key wouldn't fit back in to undo it!

davesbluey do you have a side profile of them? i need to know how deep they will be!

pinch is there anything you can suggest? i'm looking to replace some existing dzus fastners (the ones you secure on, and spring out) with something lockable.

i havent got a side view at the moment but my mate who i work with owns the mini now and will see it at work tomorrow. will try and remember to do you some pics.

Wow, I've Never Seen That Type Of Aero Catch Before, Who Would Of Thought That Abloy Keys / Locks Can Be Used To Keep Panels Together Instead Of Its Usual Job Keeping Safes Locked!
