the cars very different to when it left yours
lol the only problems were the cuts you'd made in the 2nd xmember and the cut in the parcel shelf, but was no trouble to weld them up.
got the rear shocks on, need some spacers adn longer studs for the rear, but will have to get the front built up first to check the track.

Huddersfield Mini Spares
it works out cheaper if you order the coilovers from HS and the brackets from Minispares ...
projects looking good mate, youll have to send me some pictures/email/whatever when you get round to mounting your rear subframe.

as i havent got much to do at the moment thought id take some pictures.
metro vented disc drive flanges machined and studs back in ready to bolt up.
started on the wiring loom, looks a horrible job, especially from this picture, but its not really.
coilovers are on the back too.

looking good, and that rear subframe set up looks wicked, im almost tempted to do it to mine.
cheers mate, if your going to use coilovers why not? cheaper than buying a "beam" and you know its gonna fit.

I'm blind as a bat. Does this setup do away with the rear sub altogether? Or does it need bracing somewhere?

what hes done is chop down the rear subframe so that technically it can rotate so to stop the subframe rotating he has fitted some bolts through the heel bourd and upto the subframe hope thats right anyway and i hope you dont mind me answering that $way
thats bang on.

not using coil overs though, plus i dont really fancy chopping up a brand new heritage frame!
if your not using coilovers you have to have the whole frame to house the doughnut and trumpet...
arent you putting in a carbon boot floor MOWOG? does this get rid of the rear mounts or not?
