I have just ordered more CF cloth in for xmas, lol

CF Cloth comes in different weights, most popular is 200gram 2x2 twill, which is a nice tight weave

Also used is Plain Weave, whilst not as pretty is still nice (and used when twill hard to find)

As far as i can tell ABS use curley for their carbon since its the same prices and pics used.

Most companys now offer it at same price, its called competition.

you can have it at various weights, depends on what use.

I would go for a "heavy" weight for road use, to be honest it dont really weigh that much more, but is thicker!

Also avaible in different colours at special request, it takes me time to find and order the colours in.

Blue, yellow, green, red are the most popular. This is avaible as sets, so door cards, rear cards, parcel shelf are needed to be ordered at same time.

Whilst on the subject of the colour, i can do "cooper" bonnets using the colour cf too.

Not cheap to buy all at once, but it really does look good.

Also does anyone know where you can buy CF fabric as i will be doing a school project soon, where wee will building an electric car and racing it against other sckools. And to save on weight we want to make the body out of CF to save on weight.

So if anyone knows where i can buy some CF fabric please could you tell me any i will pass the info on to my teacher?

We was doing that for next year at college! Wish i was still at college could have been racing you :'(

Anyway, you can get carbon fabric from here:

Is it the Green power thing? because dont all the things you get have to be from sponsors? Think it might be a problem to get a place to give you some fabric!

Yea its the green power thing.

I thought that you could get a company to sponsor your team and they give you money. Because we have got pfizer right next to out school and we spoke to them and they said they would help us fund the project by giving us money :-:D which is really good and we have spoken to a few different places and everyone seems to be really enthusiastic about it all.

Thanks for the link.

No that sounds good to me, i just didnt think people would just give you money. I thought they would only give you products or materials they make/do. Good luck with it by the way, i was really looking forward to it whle i was at college. :)
