ive got a 12G2463 twin hs2 carb manifold which i want to make suitable for twin hs4s. do i line up the ports using the hs4s, mark the hole areas and then drill and tap?

 

can someone also please confirm the thread size tap ill need to use

5/16 UNC is the normal stud size into an alloy manifold
