I took a drive today to Brooklands. its a 2 hour round trip.
I have a 1972 998
I noticed on the way home that on idle the oil pressure gauge was hovering just above 20 and when I put my foot down or cruised at about 50mph the needle sat between 60 and 80. its the floating around 20 on idle that's what is concerning me.
I'm running miller's 20w50 oil
your thoughts are most welcome

I believe that oil pressure is fine. I think you want at least 15psi per 1000rpm but even under 15psi at idle is still OK as long as it goes up when the revs go up.
