The new 1275A replacement engine does not have a breather can on the timing cover like my older 1275A. There is just the clutch cover breather can. My understanding was that the HIF44 carb's breather tube should tap into a clutch cover can and a can on the front of the engine. Is there somewhere else I should attach a vent into like the mechanical pump cover plate, or is it okay to just use the single clutch cover breather can?

Mine is currently set up only with the flywheel/clutch cover breather and no issues so far

If you could get a baffled rocker cover breather port that’s another option
