Morning all
As a previous owner of a mk3 mini cooper S (heavily modified) in the late 80's and after watching my brother in law rebuild my Dads old fiesta yellow mk1 Austin Cooper, I've taken the plunge and bought myself an ex UK 1970 bronze yellow Mk3 cooper S as advertised in the march edition of cooper world that was for sale in the Netherlands after being exported there in 1988 (nightmare to import but all behind me now) to restore myself.
I used to love the buzz at mini shows I went to in the 80's and went to many of them, I look forward to getting back into the mini life style and to start my new restoration project as soon as it's registered with the DVLA, which I'm sure will be great fun trying to find it's original registration number if that's even possible, will be requiring some help that's for sure.
