Just want to check this out, so im looking at these valve springs
according to chat gtp,
Mini 1275 Uprated Double Valve Springs (Cooper S Style)
Outer spring diameter: ~29mm - 31mm
Inner spring diameter: ~20mm - 22mm
Installed height: ~38mm - 40mm
Seat pressure: ~80-90 lbs @ installed height
Now, the reason i ask is im having my Lada head done, and i cant get outer valve springs, and also they would be like £90 for the set posted from estonia. Lada sizes according to chat gtp
Lada 2103 (VAZ-2103) Valve Springs
Outer spring diameter: ~29mm - 31mm
Inner spring diameter: ~20mm - 22mm
Installed height: ~38mm - 40mm
Seat pressure: ~70-80 lbs @ installed height
also
Lada 2103 (VAZ-2103, 1.5L OHV)
Installed height: ~38mm - 40mm
Typically, stock Lada springs have an installed height in this range, but it can vary slightly depending on the exact head casting and valve setup.
Mini 1275 Uprated Double Valve Springs (Cooper S Type)
Installed height: ~36mm - 38mm
The standard Mini single valve springs are usually around 35mm - 37mm, but the uprated Cooper S double springs are slightly taller, bringing them closer to Lada spec.
So is this looking right to you? i could shim up the Mini springs 2mm, and i think the cam ill be going for on the lada is 10mm of lift, i dont know what the max lift of the mini springs would be?
thanks
