Inner Wing Replacement Question

When replacing an inner wing do you remove this or leave it where it is?

It seems to be on the new panel but I've seen people leave it and just add the new panel to it.

Take it off or the new panel will stand off and fit poorly.Just my view,Steve..

I agree with the above, they are already on the heritage panels.

The old ones usually rust out any way behind the shock mount.

They are not always on the Heritage panel so just be aware especially if you get a second hand one. The pair i fitted to my lads car back a while ago did not have them.

 

But yes remove it and then you can see what rot is hiding behind.
