This is lovely and compact. Where do you store it? It looks like it would fit perfectly under the rear seats.
Anything tool related I want out of sight so it stays in the boot.

Do you not worry about it sliding around? This was the problem I had had with loose things like a small socket set and a set of jumper leads and some spare fluids like a bit of oil/brake fluid.

I keep a small tool bag (about 1ft long) that holds jumper cables, screwdrivers, and a plastic box with stuff like spare screws, zip ties, cotter pins and fuses.
and it lives in the boot or under the rear seats/in the rear pockets?

We picked up a 'generic ' tool roll and pressed a vinyl image onto it....
Similar I have one of these in the boot. They do it in black so I suppose it could go under the rear seat quite inconspicuously.

Here is an example:Curious about these. What do they look like?I use zippered canvas tool bags under the rear seat. I like them because the resist rolling / sliding, and they keep things (tools) quiet.
Your duffles may also accomplish this.

That's a nice size too. It doesn't take up the entire space in the boot.

I have a plastic tub in the boot with all my tools. It’s big enough to just fit inside the boot lid and between the tanks. I’ve got a trolley jack, tool bag, 1L of oil, various spares
Any luggage or other bags go inside the cabin
That makes sense. You guys do take properly long road trips too, so I suppose the extra spares are really necessary. I have been thinking that a trolley jack would be nice to carry along for convenience and stability but it's so big. The old scissor jacks that the car comes with are less great though.

That's a nice size. I think I will start looking for something similar. I saw some (too nice) leather bags this past weekend that would fit nicely under the rear seat but I would feel bad to use them for spares and things that might have a bit of dirt, grime, or grease on them.

It’s too heavy to really slide about much, and I’m not really bothered if it does it won’t/can’t do any damage.
True, the amount of spares does help here. Especially if the material has decent friction against the boot board.
