Hi,
it is with deep regret that after only a short 1 year ownership I have decided to sell my lovely mini.
2 main reasons - 1) I initially wanted a tax exempt historic mini that I could daily drive, customise and make it mine. This car isn't it. this car should be kept lovingly and improved upon to make sure its still around in 60 more years. 2) I am moving house, I have 3 cars and a caravan, new house has a 1 car driveway.....
SO history of the car is well documented, by typing in the reg plate you can read the full history of it. in short...
This 1968 Morris Mini Cooper, originally owned by Bristol Motor Club’s Dick Mayo, is a rare blend of heritage and heart. After decades in storage, it underwent an 8-year, painstaking restoration to preserve its originality. Built from Dick’s salvaged rally car and a period-correct donor shell, it features hand-painted Snowberry White coachwork, the original Busman’s steering wheel, and period Lucas lights. Upgrades like an unleaded head and alternator ensure modern reliability without compromising its vintage soul. With low miles post-restoration and a story woven into every panel, this Mini isn’t just a car—it’s a lovingly revived classic, ready for its next custodian.

I am looking for 20k for the car. it's a great thing and I was planning on keeping her for a good few years yet but things happen and life gets in the way! The car is in really great condition. it's solid all over. no rust anywhere. The car would benefit from a respray as the car was hand painted and upon a close inspection you can tell in places. this would make the car concourse condition.
