Hi all, struggling to pinpoint the trouble with my indicators. Right O/s works fine. Left n/s front indicator comes on (doesn't flash), no rear indicator (have checked & changed bulb). Rear brake/lights fine. I know it is highly likely to be earth, connection related. I've done my best to check everything, but really can't understand why the rear doesn't even illuminate! Mk2

I would start by suspecting the rear lamp unit, either the bulb you have fitted is faulty or probably more likely the bulb holder is making poor contact, Check the holder itself or on the bullet connectors in the boot are all clean and secure. If the rear bulb isn't illuminating the system isn't putting enough load through the flasher unit to make the front flash.

That's great, thanks for the pointers. It's somewhat disheartening to keep trying fixes, without a method or strategy of elimination! Needed some pointers to help me get back onto it 🙏
