I need to replace my driver door step and the bottom of the driver rear quarter is also turning brown. I was thinking door step and new rear quarter but has anybody fitted one of these doorstep repair panels from M-Machine which appear to include the bottom of the rear quarter?

I've fitted the magnum version in the past and it was ok, only issue depending on how bothered you are is you lose the join between the rear quarter and sill step which on the one hand removes a weak point but on the other isn't original.

the larger version including the rear quarter would require quite a long weld to join to the original rear quarter, that would have to be done real careful so as not to warp the panel. Also, the more points on the car it has to line up to, the more awkward it can be to fit (no first hand experience of M-machine)
I'd probably prefer to do just the step and tackle the rear quarter separately with ideally a small fabricated repair section. depends how bad the rust is though

This could well be themagnum version as M-machine sell a mixture of Magnum, heritage, their own panels.
