Hi all i,m new to the forum !

I guys my Speedo is screeching and whizzing back and forth , is it an engine out job to change the Speedo gear and worm to the correct spec ?

for weeks its been reading like 20mph faster than the actual speed i,m doing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The milometer is a better indicator. Hard to see how a fault at the gearbox end could make it faster.
