Original Panasonic Deck

Best Answer GermanMoreno , Yesterday, 12:58 AM

alright I found the info! I think I could have been a good detective. I found the info on a japanese website, The radio needs a pass key to activate 4 channels. I hope ots going to help someone at some point. :)

1. Press the "MODE" button to switch to FM.
2. While pressing the "REPEAT RANDOM" button, press "2" and "4" at the same time.
3. When "SP2" is displayed, press "4".
4. Press the "REPEAT RANDOM" button to complete the four-speaker setting.

Hey there, I am trying to figure out if the original radios had fron speaker outputs. I got the panasonic deck that came with the Japanese minis, rear outputs work, but the front one are super low! Almost no sound. I have to crank the volume all the way to be able to hear a really low almost no sound.

Could those channels be blown, or non existent for those units?

That doesn't sound like it's the original radio. What's the model?

It’s the original stereo from Japanese models from 94 to 96 I believe.

Indeed it says that, for some reason it toggles - volume - bass - treble - balance, and back to volume.
I am using only 1 pair of speakers though.

When I plug the pair of speakers to the front outputs, the sound is very minimal, almost non existent.
I plug them in the rears it works well.

Ill try adding another set to the front at the same time, maybe itll activate the fade somehow

it's a shame in terms of originality .. but in functional terms, do you really want to lug around tapes and CD's anyway?

I'd get something with bluetooth at least, tthere are some out that dont have that halfords special flashing lights style

I managed to add Bluetooth to it via the cd changer plug. That’s why I am fiddling with it 😊
