So, I'm 6 foot 6 and although I do fit in the normal seat position, it's highly uncomfortable and any sort of long journey is out of the question.

I'm planning on replacing my old seats with new as part of the resto-mod and I quite like the BB6 style.

Would i be OK with the longer seat brackets or maybe some seat bars in can place wherever I need ?
Tia.

get some heavy duty seat brackets these will go back farther than the old style, you may find you need to also lower the steering column with the correct bracket too, this should help abit.

Back in the 1970's my Dad used to serve petrol to Britain's tallest man who used to come into our garage driving a mini. Dad thinks he drove it from the back seat.

The JB Fabrication seat brackets allow for more rearward seat position, however you can have interference from the companion bins if the seat is too wide.

I have them in my car and find them superior to the usual "seat adjuster brackets" from most suppliers.

I am 6.3 and use some bracket extensions with no issues.
