Brooklands Mini Day 2025:-
https://www.brooklan...n/mini-day-2025
M25 - Next full weekend closure - 21 to 24 March - M25 junction 10 (Wisley) to 11 (A320 Chertsey)
We'll close the M25 between junctions 10 and 11 again from 9pm Friday 21 and re-open it by 6am Monday 24 March.
Once again, we need to close the motorway for bridge demolition.
Diversions will be the same as the 7 to 10 March closure.
Please note M25 junction 10 closure and diversions for the day >

I will be attending this one, usually a good turnout and there's always a few used parts stalls, thanks Mab01 for reminding me to avoid the M25

Haven't done this. I might shoot up there. Is it any good
Yes, usually an excellent turnout although the roadworks highlighted by mab01 may put some off. Always worth membership if you plan to visit more than once a year. I will be there in my traveller…

Hi,
Yes usually a very good turn out.
I live 4 miles away from Brooklands but will not be going as the whole of the area will be snarled up with diverted traffic due to the M25 junction 10 closure.
I hope I am proved wrong.

My Dad went to Kempton Park last weekend, he wished he hadn’t, as he got stuck in a lot of traffic, as M25 was closed then too.
And it’s £26.50 per ticket now, worlds gone mad. I know it’s a museum, but I don’t get why it has to be so expensive, when it’s run by volunteers.

Hi,
Yep last weekend on Saturday I had to go to Brooklands Tesco, could not not go. On the return journey it took me 40 minutes to get from the Tesco car park to the Campbell Gate entrance to Brooklands Museum a distance of approximately 1.5 miles. The journey to Tesco was just as bad and I was approaching from a different direction. What didn't help was the usual idiots not looking ahead and therefore blocking the roundabouts. Hopefully it will not be as bad on the Sunday.
Unfortunately I believe the day was arranged before the closure dates were announced.

I'm going, will be with the Thames Valley Mini club - even club tickets were only £5 off. It's going to be an early start, and the weather forecast isn't great either.

You guys have a mini event you can attend!
- How great is that!
- I know Traffic is a nightmare! It takes the fun out of a nice road trip.
I'm always weary of some SUV running me over because they can't see me over their hood, or are on their phone.

Attended the Brooklands Mini day today, not as good a turnout as previous years and the Modern Minis outnumbered the classics, plus the M25 delays were a bit of a pain, the good thing is that other than a small rain shower on the trip down it stayed dry.

It wasn't such a bad day - we left during the 2nd hill climb session, so beat the worst of the traffic - plus knowing a few back road short cuts helped. Why some of the BMWs bothered with the hill climb is questionable, given the "sunday driving" approach some of them took - the best was the EV Mini that shot up the hill, without any noise - or screaming clutch! For me, didn't get to see many of the exhibits for queues of pushchairs and whining toddlers.
