Hi all,
I’m going to tackle my black leather MPI cooper seats. Although black, it looks like they haven’t been cleaned in quite a few years as they're quite grubby.
Can anybody recommend a leather cleaning product? I have meguiars leather conditioner to apply once clean but need something to get them to a clean state first. I have used Dr Leather wipes on other cars in the past but think I need something a bit stronger for this.
Is Autoglym leather cleaner a good option? I’ve also seen saddle soap mentioned by some people as a good option- has anybody tried that on Mini seats?
Thanks

Andy at optimise automotive trimmed my seats with leather and he recommended Auto Finesse range of leather cleaning products.

I use a steam cleaner as only the bolsters are leather.

Just to report back, I used Auto-Glym leather cleaner with a soft horse hair brush. Worked very well. Then after a fair bit of research I opted for a Gliptone liquid leather conditioner - it smells like leather and has given the leather a nice finish although it does have a slight sheen to it and so if you're going for a matte look then you won't like it.
