Back in 1986 when I owned a 1979 Mini 1275GT which had Denovo's fitted, I needed to replace one tyre which was low on tread, I can't remember the cost only that it was cheaper to purchase 4 new Weller wheels with tyres for less than the cost of 1 tyre replacement.

I would also add that when driving with the Denovo tyre it was a very firm ride and felt like you were driving on solid rubber.
