When I asked about subwoofers, i hadn't yet worked out what i was doing with the head unit/receiver/amp or primary speakers.
At this point, I think I'm leaning towards using a small 4-channel amp along with a bluetooth receiver/controller device. These are the possible options as of now:

I chatted with another Mini owner who has only the 6x9's in the back and he was happy with the sound and volume. so I may start with the above setup and add the subwoofer later if I feel like it needs something extra.
thoughts? will the tiny 1" tweeters be a waste of time? I really like how those pods don't block visibility and fit neatly, that being the reason for such a small speaker choice.
I bought those speaker pods off of Etsy a few months ago. They are great! They focus the sound on the driver well!
