I've stripped 2 matching A+ gearboxes with the intentions of hopefully building one back up by taking the best parts from either. Examining the 1st and 2nd gears, and the synchro for 1st and 2nd I am looking for some advice on what is salvageable and what is not and need new of.

Here are both 1st gears:

Here is 2nd:

synchro 1st then 2nd for one (cable tie) :

synchro 1st then 2nd of the other:

I'm hopeful I can use the left of 1st gear and maybe even the first (cable tie) synchro? or are these no good too. I'm pretty sure both 2nd gears are scrap.

Thanks for any advice!

Neither of those 1st gears appeal to me, though if you have to use one, the digs on the one on the left (2nd pic) appear slightly less battered.

Neither 2nd gear is any good. Note that these are different, one is a single line (26T), the other a twin line (25T).

The Synchro Hub outer track is border line.

Sorry to not have better news !

Thanks Spider. I had a feeling this was the case. Thanks for pointing out the different grooves on 2nd gear too. I missed that somehow! Will be more observant to that with with rest.
