I love the colour of this Mini and want to use it on mine, but I want to be absolutely sure it's the right shade. I believe it's Midnight Blue JQW (BLVC889), but can anyone confirm? Also, does anyone know which years Austin Rover used this paint?

Blvc 889 comes up as rose pink in a google search. Have a look at this on somerfords as a rough starting point or find a leyland colour chart for the year of manufacture. That’s quite a nice blue. Prefix D is August 86 to July 87
