On my way or back to/from Thruxton 1986 I stopped at Ripp's 'warehouse' @ 54 Fore Street in North London and picked up a thing or two. While roaming around there I saw Stud Nicolao running around. As I got later to know at that time he was co-proprietor of Ripspeed company. Now I think there is pub on the premesis (?).

I used to stop at Ripspeed in Edmonton on my way home from Minispares when it was at Friern Barnet.

Yes it is, I walk past it when going to Spurs.  Used to go to 'Ripoffs' back in the 1980s

Quote: "The site of the old “The Gilpins Bell Pub” which was formerly the RipSpeed auto parts shop will be transformed into an exciting development of apartments of mixed size with commercial space on the ground floor."

I used to buy from the Luton store which was quite near my business. I got a trade discount as well.
