hello i have a 95 spi, and having a few issues, im at wits end, i have changed my lambda sensor going back last year as thr diagnostic told me it was faulty, new one gone in and diagnostic is saying o2 system active then inactive after bout 1m -2m, i have also found out that my exhaust is glowing cherry red and not sure why, all sensors seem to be ok and working but the car is also running lumpy so not sure if running rich or lean, i have checked spark plugd and number 1 was black and number 3 was alittle

 

please can some one help im losing the will

This could be a lot of things. The most common issues are air leaks from the vacuum hoses.

Or, on top of that, a blocked fuel catch perhaps?
