Is there a current source for 1380cc head gaskets that are actually designed for the cylinder offset? Cometic used to make them but I cannot find a current supplier.

Hi

I just went to the cometic website and it put me through to its Australian site ( so USA may differ) Sorry if this info just replicates your searches.

A number of Mini offerings were PRE-order - which doesn't help if you are wanting one now  but hopefully it means they are still producing them at some stage

It would be sad if they stopped . The Cometic MLS in different thicknesses and sizes were excellent albeit pricey.

Link to page I found here.  AUSTIN MINI 1300 MK1&2 1958-65

Good luck with the build.

bk450 perfectly fine on a 1380. Don’t over complicate it.
