No mention of an 'extension connector' so that you can check the pressure of the Spare Tyre.

that's all well and good but are normal people going to be allowed to fit it 

 

last I heard when someone tried to do this they got dragged over the coals about drilling a hole in the wrong place, it seems the DVLA (IVA?) don't want people doing this sort of thing themselves 

 

in some ways, possibly for the best because you don't want some numpty messing about with high voltage, but still there's plenty of guys in sheds who are far more than capable of using a bit of common sense and doing it properly

Does not need any modifications to the original car.

fair enough but it still has to pass an MOT doesn't it, all it needs is for some jobsworth to find a reason to fail it

If you think about this you can now buy a new electric car for about £17.000 but too convert a mini will cost £35.000 doesn't make sense to me
