G'day all, I have been a Mini-Man since purchasing my 1st 997cc Mini Cooper in 1963 it was toga white & ? blue with blue seats, what a great fun car & believe it or not, i retained some of its parts like doors, seats & front disc assemblies etc, after it was smashed by a great mate of mine. Over the years I've learned so much about Minis & their eccentricities, have had a number of Minis & currently own a 1968 Cooper S, which i am trying to garner the enthusiasm to complete the restoration with i started about 15 year years ago, but maybe its now a dream?

Regards to All

Why not make that dream come true, get the spanners out and do it, it's only like a big technical lego after all, remember that cooper s are climbing in value every day so get on with it and enjoy the challenge,

Well - post-up some pictures and questions and we'll all have a go at it!

Time to get it done!

Because once it is done it will be time for a ride! The only way to really enjoy that fun you recall from 1963!

I recently reunited with my mini after it being far away for more than a dozen years (Including a stint in Australia!) due to several assignment and relocations. I only saw it every few years, so I did made sure all was ok... BUT I was always dreading finding 1000 mice living in it (or something similarly horrible for a car!). Fortunately all was well!

The enthusiasm comes back once you get into the rhythm of making progress!
