My first one

The only place that no one recommended and you were given links to posts about their previous shenanigans. Good luck.
Fingers crossed everything is ok 😂
If not I will go down the section 75 route which I've recently done....( A very popular mini parts company which I won't name) On 2 occasions they sent me the wrong items and wouldn't refund then sent me a faulty item which they were extremely rude about.

The only problem with buying a ready-done head is the combustion chamber volume may not give the optimum compression ratio.

I once bought a fully gads-flowed head from a well known Mini company and I specified the chamber volume I required as it was a 1071 cc unit. When I received it I checked the chamber volumes and it was not what I had ordered. Had I fitted it the CR would have been around 8:1, not ideal for a competition unit requiring 11:1. Then they would not pay for me to git it skimmed locally and I didn't have time to return it to them with no guarantee as to the turn-around time.

If buying one like this, it's essential you do all the measuring and calculations for your engine and then require a guarantee that the chamber volumes are as you need them.

Hi

Great advice cheers.

I will check the head thickness against mine as it's a 12g202 plus the chambers

Pulley changed plus timing chain and tensioner but I was having issues reving out on the road and I was getting a vibration around 4k
Narrowed it down to the head... It has double valves fitted and not single ones.
Contacted the company and they mentioned they never fit double to the 12g202 head so this must of been a mistake on their end. A new head is on its way plus a head gasket set. No real issues for me removed the old one within 40 minutes.

New head on and running but I cant get the afr gauge below 11.8 on idle! ( Usually sits at 14)I've checked the valve clearances, timing and for air leaks but nothing.
I have taken apart the carb needle valves and there are closing fine. I'm stuck lol
Also I have tried to lean out the carbs but making little difference.
