What’s everyone’s go to for removing water spots? I’m fairly into car detailing but live in a hard water area. Every month or so I give it a good wash and polish but when I just want to “freshen” the car each week I just get water spots!
I’ve seen people say white vinegar mix but as my maths is whacked anyone else used over counter products etc?

All it is is the calcium dropping out of solution as the water evaporates. Make sure all the water is removed.

Use something such as Autoglym Aquawax and a microfibre cloth to dry the car after washing, and ONLY wash the car first thing in the morning before there’s any warmth in the metal.

Use rainwater or distill some water down to get purity. Cheap and simple.

1 part White vinegar to 4 parts distilled water in a spray bottle. Spray on and wipe off with a microfiber. It's what I use once the car is dry.
