Hi. I have a 998 a-series that I drive daily, it does quite a few miles so of course things gets worn, I had the engine out to change the diff and noticed that the primary gear front bush was very very worn. it was an original bush and not a bad reproduction one.

but what would cause this? and how many miles should I expect it to last?

I have driven many in a-series and never seen a primary gear bush wear like this before.
