Hi,

I'm in the process of persuading my new inner wings to fit and noticed some differences between the new wing and the original (1984)

A - The Bottle Holder and Bonnet Stay - I can't find them as replacement panels, so I'm going to recycle the originals - Any concerns?

B - The new wing has 2 newfangled brackets - what are they for? do I need to remove them, as they look like they'll clash with the original bottle holder

C - Loom retaining 'tags' - these are missing from the new panel - can you buy these or just make them up from sheet steel?

D - The new wing has several holes around where the loom would run - what are these for? are looms retained in a different / better way on later models?

A : just copy the position from the original panel and weld them to the new. A spot welder is helpful here

B : I believe they are for the ECU for the MPi/Spi engines, you won't need them for a carburetter model.

C : you can make them from steel sheet and spot weld. I've used openable cable-ties instead

D : I don't really what those holes for, I just welded in all the holes which aren't there on the original panel and hammered flat those bumps also
