Hello all.

I’d like to buy a decent breathable indoor car cover for my mini, but there are so many to choose from, just wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

I have one of these in XXS on our Elf in the garage.  Really happy with it, and my experience of the company was good customer service and comms.

Thanks, but £145 seems steep for a cover!

I’ve seen some £40-£60 more my budget

In life you get what you pay for, I'm afraid.

If the cover doesn't breath easily it will do far more damage than good and can cause paint issues down the line.

You are probably better off without a cover if the car is in a garage than a cheap one.

I've got a Richbrook cover on my LAVERDA. It's well made and washable.

I'd use them if I had to replace the current covers on my Minis.

£116.10 with Discount Code ' Rich10 '.

I would normally agree, I always buy OEM and known things where I can, but this is a piece of material and in my opinion hugely marked up.

It is actually a gift, as I have 2 covers already, and I have now found the company that supplied mine, at the time they were £40 each.

The latest one I purchased in 2018 and have had no issues, there are now £62, but a much more sensible price!

I bought one from the MCR and it leaked red dye into the white paintwork on the roof. Not happy. As above, you get what you pay for. £140 is the market price for a good quality properly breathable cover. You're better to not use one at all if it's nylon or cotton and the car is in a garage.

I've got one of these on my car in a garage. Had no issues with it at all (been on the car for 1 1/2 to 2 years so far) and keeps the dust off.

Another vote on the Richbrook one from me. Nice and stretchy material, breathable and soft. Also good at absorbing any accidental knocks in the garage.

I've had one from https://www.everycarcovered.com on my van for over a year, lasted well, no damage, worth the price IMO

I bought a Carcoon outdoor cover, as it's inflated no part touches the car (apart from the bottom of the tyre). Keep mine in great condition through the winter come rain or snow. Only downside is £££, but probably unbeatable for protection.

Thanks, but Halfords won’t sell fitted classic mini covers!

I’ve gone for one of these
