Is it a Tesla Mini because at a quick glance it looks as though it caught fire.

If it’s an EV, it will obviously self combust at some point.

A few thoughts, it does not say whether it is a front or rear SDU. if it is a rear which are the most common then it will need adapting to give oil flow. There is no mention of the range. And it will need a qualified tech to complete and register.

It's a FDU, Model S RDU is wider than that.

Difficult thing with this is that it needs to be owned & worked on by someone who know's what their doing when it comes to HV, not they 'think they know what their doing, you only get one mistake with HV.

It just reminds me of that guy who tried to make the electric one and got the V5 taken away 'because he drilled a hole in the wrong place'  or possibly just because the inspector didn't like it and looked for any reason he could think of to stop it happening

just sounds like a whole load of not worth the aggro to me

Recent Change The Dvla Has Made To Its Interpretation Of Government Policy

Problem concerns an electric Mini conversion being permanently taken off the road because the owner drilled holes in the boot as part of the electrification.....see link below:-

I've always thought a Mini van would be the perfect candidate for an electric conversion.

Motor up front, motor in the rear, batteries under the load area, so 4x4 and oodles of bhp and torque.Would be a monster. When I win the lottery I'll build it :D
