Thanks for advice.

Removal of the purge valve and some brute force to remove the wiper motor cover did the trick.

Trying to change the front cones on my 2000MPI. The drivers side tower bolt is easy to access and 1" 5/16 socket removed without issue. The passenger side however seems impossible to access, there is not even enough space for the socket to get through between the wiper motor & the 45Deg bulkhead.

Any clever ways to do this without removing the expansion tank, purge valve & wiper motor ?

Cheers

.....or just the wiper motor cover? Might just give you enough room.
