Hi guys
Replacing the scuttle and seen a few people weld up the unused holes. Anyone have any view whether to weld up or not? Thanks!

Funny old world, phrase the question differently and you’ll be told that for originality you should keep them!

That’s what I was mentally wrestling with. Originality vs do it once.

well it's easier to make holes than it is to fill them in, especially when it's painted ..  fill em in, paint it, later on if you're feeling really pedantic and you need to use a hole cutter it's easy

Hi,

If doing as Stuart suggests make sure you measure position of existing holes.

May I suggest you get  a peace of suitable paper that covers all four holes then rub a pencil over the paper which will the highlight where the holes are. ( Like a brass rubbing)

Then if you want to redrill the holes you can line up the paper with the remaining two holes and that will fix the position for the two to be drilled again.
