I never thought id sell this car, so ive spent on as much as i can on it to get it right to last me for a few years.
Rover 100, was originally a 1100 engine, but ive upgraded to a non vvt 1800cc.
spec as follows
mgf 1800cc twin cam engine, rebuilt by myself about 500 miles ago. Had the crank polished, new shells, head done by Dunrite engineering warrington. Later type alloy gurdle, only bit i havnt replaced was the pistons and liners as they where good.
alloy inlet
recent mgf radiator
speeduino seafox ua4c ecu
aftermarket exhaust
wide band 14point7 sensor
1100 gearbox and flywheel
uprated box mount
mgf discs and calipers
mgf 14" spare wheels all round [to keep the standard look]
rover 200 wheel trims
regassed and checked suspension units still linked front to rear but i have the individualising valves to go with the car
mgf front shock absorbers and the gti mounts welded in
recent battery
paintwork all good for its age apart from a but on the n/s sill
not fitted but with the car is a front anti roll bar and polly bushes
rust proofed with 50/50 of engine oil and wax oil, thats extremely good imho.
recent fuel tank
recent fuel pump
recent starter
All tyres same and good
Bad points
Could do with a box as it has a slight whine from i think the diff but there is the bigger mgf box included, with shafts, and a bolt kit if i can find it.
bit of rust on the n/s sill that needs doing at some point, i have a rear arch to go with the car.
when ive taken it apart to paint etc, the bumpers need properly aligning, just a time thing to make it look right
rear wheels do sometimes catch on the rear arches, but with the individualising valves, it should sort a lot of that out
idle valve not wired or tuned, but car is fine, just the way it is.
included with
front anti roll bar
front / rear windscreen rubbers new
heater matrix
car cover
2 cats
rear n/s wheel arch repair panel
Bit of a sleeper, goes like a rocket. gets lot of attention when you open the bonnet as people don't expect it.
