One of the advantages of the sealed fuel injection system on later Minis is any petrol left in the tank takes a lot longer to go stale during a winter lay up, although the increasing Ethonol content of modern fuels can cause corrosion problems and cause leaks in old spec flexible fuel pipes. Ideally add some STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer.

Thank you there is only about 5 litres of e10 in the tank, if I put 15l of E5 in will that suffice

Id be worried of your rubber fuel lines if you've been using e10, even with e5 I had serious cracking on my MPi after being on for a year. Perfect time to check and replace if needed to ethanol resistant lines.
Doesnt really change things being a sealed system, ethanol will still attack components such as injectors, fuel pump etc, best to run stabiliser if stored, with e5, and make sure its mixed and ran so in the system.
